Lead the production of editorial content to support the buyer’s journey
We are building Redpanda, a real-time streaming engine for modern applications. Redpanda is used by Fortune 1000 enterprises pushing hundreds of terabytes a day, and by the solo dev prototyping a React application on her laptop. We go beyond the Kafka protocol into the future of streaming, with inline WASM transforms and geo-replicated hierarchical storage. Think of it as a data API platform that scales with you from the smallest projects to petabytes of data distributed across the globe. We are on a mission to enable every developer to supercharge their real time applications.
In this role, we’re looking for a research-oriented, data-driven managing editor to lead the editorial content production that supports the buyer’s journey at Vectorized. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will build a high impact practitioner-focused content engine that is strategic to our business.
You will bring to the table a journalistic mindset rooted in data and research, and the knack to spot stories in a mix of keywords, customer use cases, product features and technology trends. You will be meticulous at content ideation, calendar planning, writing and editing, schedule tracking, and cross team collaboration. You will take pride in delivering content that retains an authentic, developer-friendly voice, while driving KPIs for the business. To accomplish these goals, you will work closely with teams across marketing, developer advocacy, engineering as well as with our developer community and freelance writers, and help build a content assembly line that grows our business.
