Sales Development Manager
Oversee Sales Development team at Redpanda, managing the outreach to our prospects and working with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure consistency of the message and reporting of SDR results.
We are building Redpanda, a real-time streaming engine for modern applications. Redpanda is used by Fortune 1000 enterprises pushing hundreds of terabytes a day, and by the solo dev prototyping a React application on her laptop. We go beyond the Kafka protocol into the future of streaming, with inline Wasm transforms and geo-replicated hierarchical storage. Think of it as a data API platform that scales with you from the smallest projects to petabytes of data distributed across the globe. We are on a mission to enable every developer to supercharge their real-time applications.
In this role, we’re looking for an experienced SDR manager to oversee and plan for the performance of our Sales Development team. We’re looking for a player coach with this role—someone who will both do outreach on his/her own, while also managing the team, working to find optimizations in our outreach and reporting team results.
Oversee the Global SDR program.
Directly manage the SDR team in their day-to-day activities.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership on process improvements and efficiencies.
Manage the execution and development of SDR outreach, both response to inbound leads and outbound engagement.
Work closely with the Events and Digital teams on Field events and targeted ad and nurture campaigns.
Drive team reporting with a keen eye on program effectiveness.
Work individually with SDR team members to identify opportunities for individual improvements.
Create and update an SDR handbook as processes and programs change Guide our SDR team in career progression.

Track record of leading a team that consistently meets/exceeds goals.
Collaborated with Marketing, Sales and Content teams to develop effective messaging for outbound communications.
Experience in successfully hiring and onboarding SDRs.
Proven track record of implementing and executing efficiency measures in a high volume lead flow model.
Demonstrated the ability to report business driving metrics on program efficiencies.
Experience with sales operations, marketing automation and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
Understanding of B2B software and open source software (preferred).
