We are building Redpanda, a real-time streaming engine for modern applications. Redpanda is used by Fortune 1000 enterprises pushing hundreds of terabytes a day, and by the solo dev prototyping a React application on her laptop. We go beyond the Kafka protocol into the future of streaming, with inline WASM transforms and geo-replicated hierarchical storage. Think of it as a data API platform that scales with you from the smallest projects to petabytes of data distributed across the globe.

You Will

You will be a crucial part of the sales team helping prospects and customers as they use and evaluate Redpanda. You will be working with many Fortune 100 companies and some of the most exciting startups today in this role.

  • Build relationships and nurture leads by sharing Redpanda thought leadership assets and events

  • Qualify all sales leads and set appointments

  • Exhibit superior customer service in all prospect/customer engagements

  • Engage prospects via phone, email, and SMS — fulfilling daily/monthly goals

You’ll be part of a diverse team with members in both US (New York City, San Francisco, San Diego, Austin, Denver) and international locations, including Colombia, the United Kingdom, Russia, Poland, and growing!

You Have

  • Desire to work in an inbound or outbound sales role with direct lead or customer engagement

  • Tech-savvy, love to help others, and passionate about sales

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and drive to succeed

  • Ability to thrive in a task and goal-driven sales environment

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
