Senior Manager of Growth
Drive demand for Redpanda through multi-channel marketing campaigns, digital efforts, events and email marketing.
We are building Redpanda, a real-time streaming engine for modern applications. Redpanda is used by Fortune 1000 enterprises pushing hundreds of terabytes a day, and by the solo dev prototyping a React application on her laptop. We go beyond the Kafka protocol into the future of streaming, with inline WASM transforms and geo-replicated hierarchical storage. Think of it as a data API platform that scales with you from the smallest projects to petabytes of data distributed across the globe. We are on a mission to enable every developer to supercharge their real time applications.
In this role we’re looking for an experienced marketing professional to plan and execute demand generation campaigns, acquire and qualify leads and drive Vectorized’s sales pipeline with high-value opportunities.
You will bring fresh ideas for content-based and account-based marketing, a flair for digital marketing and a knack for working in concert with sales development representatives and account owners. You will bring your experience with marketing B2B technology to a highly technical audience. You will be responsible for devising, carrying out and tracking campaigns from soup to nuts, working closely with sales, product marketing and solutions teams. This role will report to the head of growth and demand generation.
Develop and drive email marketing programs that create demand and accelerate sales opportunities, supporting webinars, events, partner marketing campaigns, and web and email promotions
Manage and deliver email campaigns, reporting, lead scoring, and campaign related activities
Track and manage leads
Execute nurture campaign design and create journeys for technical audiences
Optimize the email marketing automation database to ensure accurate segmentation and targeting for multi-campaign design and journeys
Engage with the Inside Sales Team to measure and optimize lead to meeting to opportunity conversion and reporting
Measure and monitor sales funnel activity, making recommendations to address coverage gaps
Ensure Salesforce.com supports marketing objectives
6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the B2B technology with a technical audience
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent
A tremendous attention to detail with a focus on driving measurable results
Demonstrated knowledge of B2B marketing in the areas of demand generation, field marketing and/or marketing operations
Proven ability to design and lead campaign strategies
Desire and ability to collaborate with diverse, global teams in a fast-paced environment
Ability toggle between strategy and execution
Hands-on experience developing campaigns with an enterprise email marketing automation system such as Pardot, Eloqua or Marketo and working with Salesforce.com B2B software industry experience a plus
Experience managing agencies and contractors a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
